Great White Laundry Services Pro-actively supports green options which counter the damage, disruption and decline to the earth's eco-systems, our sustainability policy is dedicated to reducing our negative impact upon the environment.

We use bio-degradable plastic bags, in which clean laundry is delivered to our customers, who then re-use them to return dirty laundry, the bags are then used a third time as refuse sacks.

Additionally, we use re-washable and re-useable cotton linen laundry hamper bags, which are washed after each and every laundry collection.

 We recycle laundry products and waste, this includes paper, plastic, printer cartridges and all card board packaging.

Wherever feasible we double side print to save paper and email whenever possible rather than fax.

We use eco-friendly phosphate free detergents and use only non- chlorine bleach.

We support the local community sourcing products within Cornwall wherever possible to reduce transport carbon footprint.

Commercial laundry plant is energy hungry, we at Great White Laundry Service are dedicated to reducing our carbon emissions and to saving energy.

To this end we have invested in modern energy efficient condensing boilers and we use modern, state of the art energy saving industrial washing machines capable of measuring water consumption and cycle times, thereby saving electricity, gas and water, whilst our laundry product remains hygienic, crisp, clean and fresh for our customers.

Great White laundry Services take environmental responsibility seriously, and is constantly reviewed and monitored, our medium to long term ambitions are to introduce an electric delivery van to our fleet for local laundry deliveries, to work toward the introduction of a system to recalculate cleaned water, to reduce the demand upon water supplies, and when our current fixed term price contract for electricity supply expires, we will move over to ecotricity, Green power.
